Trade fair partner continues to grow: successful Hardware Forum ITALY 2018

More exhibition space, more exhibitors and an exciting program: Our exhibition partner in Italy, the Hardware Forum powered by EISENWARENMESSE, has shown a strong event.

In September 2018, the Hardware Forum took place for the fourth time at the MI.CO. exhibition centre Fiera Milano Congressi in Milan – with great success: The event continues to distinguish itself as the most important B2B event of the hardware industry in Italy. In addition to the parallel partner event Bricoday (DIY products), the Hardware Forum  took place in a separate hall of over 3,500 square meters for the first time. Compared to 2017, the number of exhibitors rose by 55 percent from 65 to 100, and a total of 2,460 trade visitors attended the two days of the fair. These figures are only valid for the Hardware Forum without Bricoday – last year, both had presented joint figures.

The 2018 edition impressed not only with the high-quality exhibitors from seven countries, representing all product segments of the hardware industry, but also with the extensive accompanying program. Among the innovations for 2018 was the matchmaking between exhibitors and dealers with 120 individual discussions. This service is to be further expanded in the future. Once again, the annual hardware sales conference organised by Assofermet Ferramenta, the Italian association of companies from the trade, sales and pre-processing of hardware, took place as part of the Hardware Forum.

The Hardware Forum is part of the largest network of hardware events: It is organised by Koelnmesse, the leading hardware trade fair organiser responsible for international trade fairs such as INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE, Asia Pacific Sourcing in Cologne and CIHS in Shanghai.

The next Hardware Forum will take place from September 25 to 26, 2019.
